International expansion is risky. Some risks, like misjudging the market, may be difficult to avoid. But there is no reason to trip up over legal, tax and operational issues that may be relatively easy to get right, and difficult and expensive to fix after the fact.
This interactive workshop will address certain key operational considerations applicable to any international expansion. The topics covered will include:
people and culture
employment laws and regulation
The examples discussed will focus on expansion to the US and certain other jurisdictions.
